About Me

Hi! First of all, thanks for reading! I am excited to start this adventure with whoever is encouraged to follow. My name is Chelsey Catherine Antony and I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, raised in Plano, Texas, went to the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate studies (Hook’em), and graduated law school from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. A wanderer indeed. I am the first-generation child of two beautiful immigrant parents who moved to the States in order to provide a greater life and new opportunity for both myself and my sister. I am American. I am Indian. But most of all, I am a melting pot and fusion of everything and anything in between.

My entire life I have loved to travel, loved sports, loved women empowerment, and loved to write. That is why I have finally decided to create a platform to share my experiences and journey of being an ethnic woman pursuing a career in the global sports law world. Ever since I could walk, I have played sports. Ever since I knew what a career was, I wanted to be a lawyer. And even before I could comprehend global interactions, I had an enthusiasm for traveling. I have a deep rooted and personal relationship with the career I am pursuing, and I have no doubt in my mind that I am on a journey that was truly destined for me.

However, this blog is for all of us; Those who have found their calling and those who are still chasing the pursuit; Those who are interested in sport; Those who have a shared passion to travel; Those who are in the field of law; Those who want to help others; Those who want to be helped in return; Those women who think this is a predominantly male populated industry; Those other first or second- generation Americans who want a safe space; And those who simply want to network and talk to like-minded individuals.
